Turtle in the North represents Mother Earth, wise and grounded. Eagle in the East is the spiritual, creative and perceptive. Otter in the South... so trusting and keeps things playful. Bear in the West is introspective and strong.

The 2 feathers represent the balance between the Physical and the Spiritual and our constant struggle through life to achieve that Harmony.

Beautiful, abundant and pregnant, this young woman holds the jar for water... needed by all life.
She also has the three sisters (squash, beans and corn) with her, representing nurturing and sustinance. Life depends on her offerings.

Nature in Balance Nature in Balance

The Hawk and the Bear spend most of their lives alone. Hawk, far seeing as he soars and Bear, so introspective as he hibernates all winter. The Wolf is a highly social animal who teaches us to live co-operatively within our communities. This is Nature in Balance, with both ways being good and natural. We all need a time for solitude and a time for interaction.
