Sharon Chamberlain was born in Edmonton, Alberta and is currently living in Anstruther County, Ontario.

Although having received a Graphic Art diploma from George Brown College in 1980, Sharon is primarily a self-taught artist. For over twenty years she has worked as a graphic artist, set designer for television and theatre (winning many awards), and as an art teacher and painter.

Her works include both monumental murals in hospitals, corporations and homes as well as smaller paintings in acrylics, mixed media and airbrush inks for private collections. Sharon also creates soap stone carvings. Book and album covers, as well as award winning automotive art, are part of her portfolio. Sharon has done artwork for large organizations such as Coke, Pepsi, Q107 Radio Station, City TV, Nightheat, CFTO Channel 9, CHUM Radio Station, Big Brothers & Sisters and many more.

Sharon has had her one woman shows displayed at: City Hall in Mississauga, Cape Town Art Gallery in South Africa, Galeria Uno Mexico in Mexico, Jefferson Street Art Gallery in New York, Four Winds Art Gallery in Selwyn, Whetungs Gallery in Curve Lake Reserve, Daydream Art Gallery in Bancroft, Off the Wall Gallery in Bob Caygeon and many more. Some of her large murals can be seen at St. Joseph and Civic Hospitals in Peterborough, Simply Sweet Cafe in Bancroft, Griffin Energy in Arizona, Giovanni's in Mexico, the Greek Orthodox Church in Peterborough and in many private companies and homes.

Sharon paints and sells her artwork from many galleries across North America and out of her Brampton studio. She is currently working on a series of paintings for calendars, children's books, galleries, two murals for hospitals and a project involving children and their relationship to nature and the environment. Sharon is also involved in an art therapy program for both adults and children in which she will be teaching workshops throughout the year.
